Creativity

Aku pula balik rumah, aku cuba buat arak.

The end.

If only you had access to the internet back then, who knows what would've happened.

But it's interesting to note that we were a lot more creative back then, weren't we? I know you still are 47 :p, but imagine what it'd be like if most of us are at least half as creative as we used to be. We won't be afraid to try new ideas no matter how absurd they sound at first. We'd be taking insane risks knowing full well there'd be some sort of pay out at the end, no matter how slim.

However, you'd need time to able to take those kinds of risks. It's all about probability at the end of the day. Take enough samples (risks) and you get a pay out eventually. I guess when we were younger, we felt like we had all the time in the world. But as we get older, we feel like time is running short. So we learn to take more calculated risks, at the expense of the big pay out.

I think I just contradicted myself here. Perhaps you should've just asked your mom/nenek how to make tapai. Make it in enough quantity, you'd have your arak :)

we have to, have to, maintain that spark of life in us no matter how old we get. I think that is very important in life.

i do know that there's a famous type of wine called sauvignon blanc which, to be considered good, has to smell like cat pee.

you can check it out yourself on the net.

so..come to think of it, maybe my arak/wine memang jadi haha.

beer bau macam vinegar/pee. so. mmg sangat possible untuk wine berbau tandas/pee.

i made my so-called-rice-wine masa skolah rendah. kumpul beras suku botol coke, yeast sikit pastu air. simpan blakang almari dalam stor.

simpan sampai berkulat. pastu buang.

haha, rasanya nasib wine kita adalah sama.

aku punya homemade wine dulu pun berkemungkinan besar berkulat, hence the funky smell.
