Have you ever been in the situation where, for some reason, you’ve lost control over a number of things and eventually this number of things led to other things? And finally before you could say “What the fuck is going on?!” you’re already buried in a humongous pile of crap?
I think I’m in that situation now.
Well, there’s definitely no use crying over spilt milk, there’s no doubt there. So currently what I’ve been doing is just licking the spilt milk. Hey, there’s still calcium, protein and a bunch of other goodies in it... and oh, I’m also keeping an eye out on another glass of drink that I’ve just ordered from the bartender.

But I’ll be damned to hell should there be anything wrong with the bartender or the new drink or both.

Usually, nothing is unsalvageable (is this even a word?). Some bartenders will gladly replace that spilt glass of milk, provided you put on your charm.
But don't give up on that spilt milk just yet though because as you said, there's no absolute guarantee that the other drink's coming (it'd be really nice if it comes and I hope it does).
However, if the bartender's acting a fool, we'll go to the next bar together. Howzzat?
